WHY this has stuck with me when so much else has not, but I once read a fic on FF.n where Wesley Crusher turned out to be a bunch of tribbles in a uniform. I cannot now recall the fate of the original Wesley in this scenario.

....I immediately searched for this and all I could find was a sappy story where Wesley has his appendix out and Data h/c's him with a replica teddy bear.
