I saw this on Tumblr the other day. worflesbian posted about a dream of a Bashir/Janeway fic and then palpablestupor commented:

Try it out, I‘ve gotten some really cool pairings and am determined to make some summer art for them.

Originally, I just wanted to do an ink sketch as basis for a larger coloured piece, but then thought why not use my new grey markers and practice some more shading with them? For these quickish studies I've entirely ditched the pencil sketch beforehand. It really helps with practice! But it's also why Michael's hairline is a little wonky.

Of course I have to break out my Saru icon for this episode.

So, I decided to finally finish this season so I can get into new territory (for me). Season 5 has been lying around here since January and it‘s high time I finally watched it.
( Our fates are always interconnected. Maybe that’s the lesson, if there is one - that is true of all of us. We’ve lost so many, you and me, but we can’t do harm in their names or memories. We have to honour them. All of them… because they were beloved. Beautiful. )

Tested out my new markers last night after watching The Galactic Barrier.
