Can you treat without signing up? My December is always really busy, so I'm reluctant to sign up because the likelihood I'd have to default is quite high - but I *might* be able to write a treat.

Seconding, I'd be sorry to miss the signups so I'd like if they would get extended as well. I've been busy and I can't signup right now as I'm still in the process of coming up with prompts for my requests.

On a different note, is it possible to promote the exchange on fandomcalendar?

I don't know if the order of requests indicates preference (will you read my Request #1 as more important to me than my Request #2?) or not. In case it matters, the request I have in the #1 slot is there because Amanda was in my list of characters for that request and she only appears in the ticky-box options for #1 and not either of the other two. :P

Nine so far! I'm kind of hoping for one more, to make matching a tiny bit easier -- but, selfishly, there are a couple of people whose prompts I'd really like to fill, and I've already put myself on the pinch hit list, so it's not the end of the world if we don't get an even number.

(I was like, "That's so low! Not even double digits!" And then I went and looked at other new fandoms, and it turns out we're doing quite well for a new series, thanks to the magic of the Star Trek legacy behind Discovery. The last exchange I participated in was for white_lotus, which is an Avatar/Legend of Korra comm, and that was a very well-established fandom before WL ran its first exchange.)

I'm used to fests with, oh, a hundred? participants or so (femslashex was 150 or so?), but then there's the MCU Rolling Remix that had a dozen or twenty, and then there's Yuletide that has SEVENTEEN HUNDRED MILLION I DON'T EVEN KNOW. So a nice small exchange like this will be fun I think! Very low-key generally which is about what I'm up for right now.

Very curious to see what fic we get out of this--just from discussions on the comm it sounds like a lot of people's interests are relevant to my own, which is cool.

Thank you for extending the sign-ups. Still wibbling about it because of RL etc.

Also I'm a little confused by the sign-up form. If I wanted mostly to receive/write about a specific character but could imagine them in different pairings and/or gen fic. Do I fill out one form with all the options? Or all forms with the same options? Or different forms with different options?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Nope, not dumb at all -- I borrowed the format from another group, but I'm beginning to think the conventions there might have been unique to that fandom.

In your case, any of those options would work, but if I were you, I'd put different options in each request section. Does that make sense? For example, if what you really, really, really want is Lorca/Sarek fic, you could request it three times, but specify different scenarios in each section. Same if you're only interested in Michael, but you're open to Michael/Tilly AND Michael/Ash, but also gen.
