Things I liked:
More thoughts:
I am not so keen on storylines like this. But the political maneuvering was an interesting glimpse into Starfleet priorities.
I felt so bad for Adira having to wait for so long.
Plot hole: Waking up the whole species without knowing what sustenance they need probably wasn‘t the smartest.
I‘m not sure if the episode wasn‘t too full of storylines, but I do like the title they chose.
- Qowat Milat
- I like how they started Tilly‘s state of being a little lost. Her talk with Saru was lovely. Also did he hint as sexpollen in the blooming swamp-kelp? What did you infer from his comment?
- Love how Booker is able to joke with Michael this episode, despite everything.
- Stamets: Math. Math. Math.
- I just really love Culber this season (and last season)
- Love saru talking Tilly up for the mission. And also, great mission: four women out to arrest another woman. When have I seen that?
- Finally a scene on Vulcan! (I‘m a bit sore still from rewatching the AOS films recently)
- Booker and T‘Rina's conversation on emotions.
- Discovery‘s bar which I don‘t think we‘ve seen before.
- Cool but brief sword fight
- Vulcans calling Stamets illogical, Vulcan mind melds.
- I did like the orchestra analogy (but I reject any implications of cellists being the ones drunk. Signed: a cellist. Woodwinds and brass are at war though.)
- Happy ending for Adira and Grey! And some peace for Booker.
