And now on to episode 4:
Love that we finally get Culber point of view. It‘s been long overdue.
I really appreciate that they‘re finally moving away from the extremely unwise navigation via one person.
Also love the way Saru keeps asking the ship‘s computer for help with the crew‘s health (therapeutic colouring books, interstellar shopping lol).
Oh I forgot about the sentient computer! And the bridge crew dinner. I felt so bad for Detmer being forced to do a haiku.
To be honest the Trill story didn‘t interest me very much this time round. Just up to that scene where Grey was revealed. Then I remembered why I liked that storyline. But god he looks sooo young in that first memory. I do feel they could have shortened Adira‘s recall/denial of what happened a little.
Love that we‘re ending on a hopeful note again.

Date: 2025-01-12 06:35 pm (UTC)I think part of why I'm so fond of the Trill story is I'm always happy about DS9 callbacks (and also that the Adira and Gray stuff imho feels a bit like a response to people going 'technically Dax isn't queer because [x]').
I love how Disco tends to ultimately be hopeful!
