Just watching the first few minutes of this made me wish I were a proper icon maker (I only have rudimentary skills) - so many nice shots of Burnham with different hair, and that (holo training) fight scene, damn. I want that in an icon.

• In the cake scene, I was reminded of what I have always loved about Discovery: The craziest shit happens, but the emotional reactions to it are so real.


• Haha Georgiou made herself an admiral


• Damn Booker looks good in that Starfleet uniform


• Loved the crew visiting their study tree

Now I'm tempted to try my (also rudimentary icon making skills) on later seasons Disco, once I'm done with my current projects.

I love all the crew hugs in general in this show and the ones in this episode in particular!
