Here you go, space fungi! I didn't think we'd see a trailer for the next episode until after Thanksgiving, at least (...has Thanksgiving happened yet? It's not for another week or so, right?), but apparently CBS loves us and wants us to be happy. Or, at least, to have that extra bit of time to speculate wildly.

OMG, the freaky part with Scorpius on the drums and real!Harvey going "John you gotta get us out of this because _I_ am not going out LIKE THIS." Show of my heart. (And PILOT.) I wasn't crazy about the Torn, Torn Between Two Johns and pregnancy storylines and WTF Grayza, but that show had some of my very fave eps of sf ever. And I think it was one of the first sf shows I saw with the criminal-past crew all thrown together and squabbling and eventually they would die for each other, which is why I loved GotG. //taaangent

Yes, Guardians was definitely around first, but the movie version of it was so Farscape that it hurt.

Sadly no! I think there are some on Tumblr -- at least that's where the gifs are -- but I find that place hard to search. :-/

I got some from Genre Caps, but they haven't updated since "Lethe", and quality is variable -- I wound up downloading the episodes to make my own.

(Don't look at me like that, CBS, the day you bring it out on DVD in my region, I'll buy it.)

(And also on Blu-Ray if the extras are different. I'm not proud.)

People on reddit (why do I look there) kept saying he was "Gary Mitchell'd" and the only Mitchell I could think of was George but no, they meant the TOS ep where the guy had silver eyes and kidnapped the lady doctor and was buried in a rockslide none too soon. Noooo I don't want Stamets to turn into a superbeing, he is awesome as Stamets.

He's going to be fine. His dialogue might be a bit off for an episode or two, but he will be fine.

reddit had screencapped the entirety of the noncon scene and was going on about "KLOOBS" (Klingon Boobs) which put paid to that. People keep telling me there are good subreddits, but damned if I can find any. ANYWAY.

Stamets is JUST FINE, surely, SURELY they would not have the first? m/m canon gay couple with the first m/m kiss and then kill off half of them. That would just amazingly suck, I have to believe the showrunners are smarter than that. (Despite killing off Yeoh. sigh.)

I get a lot of joy out of r/gingerkitties, but as a cat sub, its Star Trek content is limited.
