First of all, I'm really sorry I missed last week -- I was so busy having EMOTIONS that I completely spaced out.

Second of all, how about "Su'Kal", eh?

- Book took Grudge into radiation??? wtf Book
- NGL Human!Saru looks a lot like the person I crushed on/had an on-again, off-again relationship with in high school, and I'm uncomfortably here for that
- They only wrote Georgiou out because she's OP as fuck and she'd have wiped the floor with Osyraa
- Osyraa is a boring Big Bad
- Loved the floaty monsters in the sky
- Loved the whole fairy tale motif, right down to Burnham in her red hood
- Tilly was pretty great, though I'd have appreciated it if they signalled that she was trashtalking Osyraa to buy Stamets enough time to get the shields fixed
- I am not getting the Gray plot? It seems disconnected from everything else

You speak the truth. I hope we see hits of her somehow, like she seeded random messages to play when Michael is near.

I am still waiting to see where the Gray plot is going. I am betting that the program will recognize Gray as a separate person, give him a form and let him meet the others.

Oh yeah, good one.

Like they have to do something to give Gray a body, otherwise it's another Tragic Trans Narrative, and I really don't think the show would do it or the two actors involved would be as enthusiastic as they genuinely seem to be.

Only two episodes left, and I hope I'm not jinxing it by saying how glad I am that the stakes are smaller this season.

The potential galaxy ending events are so damn boring.

I am extremely happy about the cause of the burn!! I was half-dreading that the Burn would have been caused by Discovery's arrival to the future, and I'm so pleased that it wasn't!

But... how long do Kelpians live??? Su'Kal is 125 years old already and doesn't even have a beard yet. :O

I was full-on thinking that the child was going to turn out to be the monster because it looks a bit like the other race on Saru's planet. And Su'Kal is part of the program, which is why he survived and doesn't look that old. That would have been a cool twist.

Some thoughts:

I like how we‘re starting with the memorial again. It‘s respectful.

The return of Gray was handled well.

Prettyy necula!

Book is risking too much to prove himself.

Gruuuuudge!

Not sure what Culber means about finding a purpose, he had one before!

Love Michael sharing the Georgiou story.

Love to see Tilly in the captain‘s chair

Looooove to see Doug Jones

I love the whole structure and atmosphere of this episode.

Love Michael thinking on her feet and becoming a program.

Doug Jones’s lovely face! Ah he made me cry.
