4x02 - Anomaly

Let‘s discuss! This is a rewatch for me, but honestly a lot of it is like watching for the first time.
There already is a discussion post for episode 1 - Kobayashi Maru here (and I‘ve added my thoughts there), so head over there too.


Things I liked:

• so happy to have Saru back. And I do like those red uniforms.


• I do like having two (three if we count Michael) female leaders at the table.


• classic "we have to figure out a new phenomenon" plot


• Grey finally getting his new body.


• Saru and Michael make such a good team this episode. And I do appreciate seeing characters interact that we have rarely seen together, like Stamets and Book.


• The gravitational wave was fun. I don‘t think I‘ve seen a Star Trek show do this before to its bridge crew.


• Loved Tilly asking for help, the way she did it felt real.


• Characters being reminded of previous traumatic stuff and reacting accordingly.

I totally forgot that the computer gave itself a name! Am looking forward to that storyline.
