In which we get a reunion with a cool character and everything is about finding compromises.
Yay! The return of Commander Nhan. Even though it‘s sad to hear that the reconnection with her descendants didn’t work out.
Love Saru‘s garden! T‘Rina‘s costume is perfect as always. I love the subtly shimmery fabrics they‘ve chosen for her.
Finally Bryce and Rhys get some lines! Even if it is arguing. It is strange to see a mission with four male crew members because it is so rare in this show. I had gotten used to seeing mostly women on screen.
I‘m not sure how everyone trusted Book to keep the “wild card” and acknowledged genius Tarka in check, to be honest. It‘s all fine that he accepted the compromise, but expecting Tarka to go along? when they knew next to nothing about his motivation? That was a careless oversight.
Tarka‘s whole reasoning was stupid anyway, what would hinder species Ten-C from sending another DMA? (ETA: Oh okay, and that‘s exactly what happens.I had forgotten.)
Saru asking for relationship advice from Culber was too cute.
